Fred Richardson
Fred Richardson leads the organization with a cheerful and energetic clarinet sound and crisp clean vocals. He has played clarinet, sax, and flute for numerous local Twin Cities bands and across the United States as a member of touring groups and on the Delta Queen Steamboat out of New Orleans. In desperation he will also double on banjo or string bass.
Dave McCurdy
Recently retired Professor of Anthropology at Macalester College in St. Paul, Dave plays guitar for the Fred Richardson Trio. He is also equally talented at banjo and piano, which he has played with many local Twin Cities groups and also in New Orleans during the French Quarter Jazz Festival.
Pat Schmid
Plays string bass for the Fred Richardson Trio Sundays at Kozlak's Royal Oaks in Shoreview. He has worked with many of the great bands in the Twin Cities including the Wolverines Classic Jazz Orchestra, Barbary Coast Banjo Brass, and numerous shows. Dedicated to live acoustic string bass, he also plays electric and Tuba and teaches young students to play at Bud's Music in Hopkins.
